MTG Meets Washington DC
On July 27 2017 the MTG Head of International Tax, StB Georg Weishaupt, and the founder and Managing Partner of Klug Law Office PLLC – Chris Klug, JD, LL.M. – met in Washington D.C. Because of the increasing internationalization of the business of numerous MTG clients, strongly into the U.S. markets and other nations, the meeting was primarily intended to foster the mutual relationship as well as the discussion of future consulting approaches. Over the course of a short sightseeing tour, a subsequent joint luncheon and a visit of the Klug Law Office PLLC in the center of the American capitol, past joint projects were discussed as well as the future development of client structures.
The meeting resulted in the commitment of a further strengthening of the relationship. Since Chris Klug, JD, LL.M. in Washington D.C. has made a name for himself in the area of international tax planning for individuals and businesses, one future first approach could be the joint publication of international newsletters and articles, e.g. in the area of add-back taxation and international assignments.
